I was lucky enough to witness many great Initiatives/activities happened in Sudan since I came back from South Korea in early 2011.

International Conference of Computing, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ICCEEE 2013), has taken place in Corinthia hotel, Khartoum from August 26th to 28th.
Gave a golden chance to young researchers to publish their research and meet with both local and international researchers in the field.

My M.sc. student Murghani Eltahir was one of them and his paper "Extracting knowledge from web server logs using web usage mining" was accepted and published in the conference proceedings.

I co-chaired two sessions during the conference:
TECHNICAL SESSION
4A: Security and Authentication
Chairpersons: Dr. Prof. Mustafa Nawari & Dr. Anwar Dafa-Alla
TECHNICAL SESSION 5A: Artificial Systems
Chairpersons: Dr. Alfadil Zakaria & Dr. Anwar Dafa-Alla

Amazing work has been done by the organizing/scientific committee, and volunteers. Thanks to the striving spirit of the scientists in Sudan to keep something alive.

I salute them and everyone who contributed to this giant achievement and hope they will never stop.

p.s: I liked their "welcoming video"on Youtube :) As well as their Facebook page
